Initial Consultation
Let's start with your property, priorities and budget.
We begin by discussing where you plan to build, the type and size of home you're considering, your priorities, budget and timeline. You don't need completed plans to start the conversation.

Planning & Design
Turning your ideas into a buildable plan.
Already have plans? We'll review them with you. Starting from an idea? We can help coordinate the design process while keeping construction requirements and budget in mind from the beginning.

Pre-Construction
Getting the details right before we break ground.
We work through plans, specifications, site requirements, trade pricing and major selections to establish a clear project scope. For acreage builds, this is also where items such as access, utilities, well and septic are considered.

Final Budget & Agreement
A clear budget before construction begins.
Once the plans and specifications are developed, we review the construction budget and agreement together, including what's included, applicable allowances and the selections that can affect final cost.

Construction
Your builder stays directly involved.
We coordinate the complete build from site work and foundation through framing, mechanical systems, finishing and final completion. You'll work directly with your builder and stay informed as construction progresses.

Completion & Possession
Built, inspected and ready to call home.
Before possession, we complete a final walkthrough and address outstanding items. Your new home is backed by 1-2-5-10 new-home warranty coverage, with Barthel Custom Homes remaining available after you move in.
