Built on Quality. Driven by Your Vision.

Barthel Custom Homes is a family-owned custom home builder based near Rimbey, Alberta. With my wife and three children by my side, I'm proud to carry forward generations of craftsmanship in woodworking, carpentry and home construction passed down through my father and grandfather.

I grew up around construction and learned the trade hands-on. Later, I expanded my experience in the oil and gas industry, working in Quality Assurance and Quality Control and managing large teams and complex projects. That experience strengthened the attention to detail, planning and accountability I now bring to every home we build.

Today, I've brought that experience back to my roots in residential construction. Barthel Custom Homes focuses on complete custom home builds throughout Central Alberta, with a hands-on approach from the early planning stages through possession.

For me, a successful build starts with understanding what matters to the people who will live there. Your property, lifestyle, priorities and budget all influence the decisions we make along the way.

I stay directly involved throughout construction, working with our trades, coordinating the details and keeping you informed as the project progresses. The goal is simple: build a well-planned, well-constructed home that you're proud to own for years to come.
